This article provides more information about the Now's close and how we can support a safe and easy transition to Mercury broadband.
What is happening to Now?
Mercury has made the difficult decision to close the Now business.
As part of this, residential fibre broadband customers will gradually move to Mercury over the coming months. For now, nothing is changing. Your services will continue as normal, and you don't need to do anything right now.
Mercury will contact you again before your services move with more information, including when your services will transfer and any changes to your account, plan, or pricing.
When will my broadband/landline switch over?
Residential fibre broadband customers will gradually move to Mercury over the coming months.
You don't need to do anything right now. Before your services move, Mercury will contact you again with your migration window and everything you need to know about the change.
Can I choose another broadband supplier?
Yes, although we'd love to welcome you to Mercury and provide your broadband service.
If you decide to switch to another broadband provider, sign up with them before your services are due to move to Mercury, and request that your Now services be transferred. Once you’ve requested the transfer, let Now know. If you'd like to join Mercury before your broadband moves, you can sign up for electricity, broadband and mobile and take advantage of our current new customer offers. Check out our current offers.
Will my services be interrupted?
We're working to make your move to Mercury as seamless as possible.
We don't expect your services to be interrupted during the move. If there is any planned interruption to your service, Mercury will let you know in advance.
Is there anything I need to do?
No. You don't need to do anything right now.
Your services will continue as normal while we prepare for your move to Mercury. Mercury will contact you before your services move with everything you need to know, including if there's anything you need to do.
